Northeast False Creek residents “intrigued” by plan for viaducts-free zone
Northeast False Creek residents are the latest to add their voices to the feedback coming to the city on its proposal to remove the Georgia and Dunsmuir Viaducts, declaring they are “intrigued” but cautious about the latest plan.
They’re looking for a firm timeline for delivery of the promised parks on the north shore of False Creek.
City engineers and planners are in the midst of a final round of discussions with residents groups before they finalize their report to council on community feedback regarding the Viaducts’ future.
