Campaign to save Taxi Saver program to hold July 12 City Hall forum
The campaign to save Translink’s Taxi Saver program has faded from the news, but community forums organized by members of two city advisory committees — People with Disabilities and Seniors — are getting packed crowds. Clearly, this issue is not going away.
Translink board chair Nancy Olewiler is scheduled to attend the third and last forum Thursday, July 12 at 10 a.m. at Vancouver City Hall.
Participants are determined to save Taxi Saver, but often have pointed comments about how to improve the HandyDart system as well.
