Tide­line Com­mu­ni­ca­tions is Geoff Meggs’ communications and consulting company, a firm that offers a unique skill set and perspective to clients seeking strategic communications support, research, writing or project management. Tidelines has executed a wide range of projects for private and public sector clients.

In a career that has included work in the Premier’s Office, the Van­cou­ver Mayor’s Office and lead­er­ship posi­tions in BC’s labour move­ment, Geoff has devel­oped a deep under­stand­ing of the peo­ple, issues and move­ments that are shap­ing BC’s econ­omy and society.

He has seen gov­ern­ment from the inside, is a com­mit­ted envi­ron­men­tal­ist, writes a reg­u­lar col­umn for Busi­ness in Van­cou­ver and is well-connected in the province’s social move­ments. He under­stands com­mu­ni­ca­tions and issues man­age­ment. He brings a new per­spec­tive to pol­icy devel­op­ment and strate­gic communications.

Tide­line Com­mu­ni­ca­tions part­ners with a net­work of lead­ing sup­pli­ers in mar­ket­ing, pub­lic opin­ion research, pub­li­ca­tions and event plan­ning to meet a wide range of client needs. Since Geoff’s elec­tion to Van­cou­ver City Coun­cil in Novem­ber 2008, he has focused his con­tract work on free­lance writing, but continues to do some contract communications work.
