Overhauled Amtrak cars respond to continued growth on YVR-SEA run
Refurbished bistro and business cars are part of the strategy Amtrak is rolling out to respond to increased ridership on the Cascade route.
The latest numbers from Washington State Department of Transport show Vancouver is the third largest station on the route for boarding and disembarking, making the expanded service from Seattle a big contributor to our local economy. Meanwhile, on this side of the border . . . uh, not much happening on the passenger rail front.
